“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
What you imagine is important. Your dreams matter. There is a reason why you were born and you must have the courage to fulfill it. The dream is not to be judged-it’s to be enjoyed. It’s personalized and specific to you. Nothing is too bold, or too frivolous. All that matters is that it is authentically yours.
You may say “I have no dreams” or “I have no reason to be here”. But that is just not true. If you are completely honest, with yourself, you know your dreams but are just afraid to claim them. That small voice inside you says: “It’s not realistic;” “It won’t make money,” “People will ridicule me,” “I don’t know how to do it”
You suppress your dreams because you are afraid. Own them; and, instead look for markers that you are on the right path: physical sensations; coincidences; flow, because it’s easy; convergence, you can’t seem to escape it; obsessions, hobbies and childhood clues
All dreams count as long as they matter to you! Not your mom, not your teacher, not your friends but You. When we are doing what we love as our profession, our job becomes a vocation and work transforms into a calling–and you are amazed and grateful that people will actually pay you anything, because you would do it wholeheartedly for free.
